Panjim: In a rarity Goa Health Minister Vishwajit Rane and Goa Health Secretary Nilla Mohanan are in contradiction mode on community transmission in the state.
Speaking to media, Vishwajit Rane, stated, “A fisherman family and a doctor found COVID-19 positive. Mangor Hill-Vasco records first three community transmission cases. No travel history. The District Administrations has commenced containment. Mangor Hill has been cordoned off as a containment zone.”
The Goa Health Secretary Nila Mohanan however told the media, “It is too premature to call this community transmission, we are tracking and locating history of the cases.
The cases of COVID-19 continues to climb northward in Green Zone Goa. Colva police station was sanitised and the entire staff of Colva police station undergoing Covid-19 test as one of the 6 patients from Mangor Hill worked as constable at the police station.
