Amarnath Yatra: Fresh batch of over 4300 pilgrims leaves Jammu

Jammu: A fresh batch of more than 4300 pilgrims left for Shri Amarnath cave shrine for both Pahalgam and Baltal routes in Kashmir on Thursday from Bhagwati Nagar Yatri Niwas base camp here.

As many as 4383 pilgrims left for Baltal in a fleet of 157.

For Baltal, 1701 pilgrims and for Pahalgam, 2682 pilgrims left from the base camp amidst tight security arrangements.

Last year, over 4.5 lakh pilgrims paid obeisance at the cave shrine.

The 52-day long Amarnath Yatra will conclude on August 19.
