Countries must see the face of Islamic radicalism for the evil it is!

I grew up in the Middle East. Dubai to be precise.

I have seen believers of Islam closely. I have some close Islamic friends from different countries. They are possessive of their religious beliefs and dogmatic practices. We disagree on several issues on religious appropriation and we agree on several issues on humanity and global concerns. But most of all, those whom I call friends from the Islamic world are not radicals.

The father of one of my closest friends in Saudi Arabia, whom I treat as an elder sister, is one of the political advisors to Mohammad Bin Salman of Saudi Arabia and another is a cousin of the ruling family in UAE. These people are not radicals. They have their own self-pride and it has nothing to do with Islam. I have always known them to be personal about their religious beliefs, just as I am about my religious beliefs.

Unfortunately for the world and with deliberate design, there is a radical strain of Islam spreading across the world. I am certain that someone who believes in the good of Islam does not approve of the spread of this radical strain of Islam but sadly many Muslims do not vehemently oppose or condemn it politically or socially.

Islamic radicalism is not the enemy of other religions in the world only. It is the enemy, first, of millions of Muslims around the world.

The beheading of a teacher in Paris for having shown cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad to his students in class is shocking but the world has come to expect violent reactions from Islamic radicals on issues pertaining to their religious beliefs. But while we expect Islamic radicals to stab, behead, rape, and sometimes bomb innocent people in their fight for religious supremacy, we do not need to accept it.

We need to put an end to Islamic radicalism. It is a growing evil based on the premise that the Ismalic radicals believe that their religion gives them the right to subjugate a person from another religion through violence and force.

Many Islamic radicals hide behind the curtain of human rights and minority rights to cleverly spread their hate and give excuses for their hate against the world. They work in the shadows of advocacy, bureaucracy, and trade to slowly fund their intent of global dominion. They succeed in their plan by way of fear. Fear of their numbers, fear of their violent attacks, and fear of the financial control in the business of many nations.

I saw the face of Islamic radicalism in Kashmir. It is horrific. It is pure evil. It possesses your mind, your heart, your soul, and most of all your humanness.

Kashmir has been and continues to be a battleground for the establishment of an Islamic Kashmir.

This battle is led by two powerful organizations that have been working for years in Kashmir. One is the Jamaat-e-Islami. The other is Ahle Hadith.

At the onset, it appears that the objective of organizations – Jamaat-e-Islami and Ahle Hadith is one of the dissemination of religious schooling and looking after the social welfare of the Islamic community in Kashmir. That however is only the outer facade, not the real intent. Their real intent is an Islamic Kashmir.

Islamic radicalism has been growing at an alarming rate in Kashmir. The plan of an Islamic Kashmir is being spearheaded by some organizations directly or indirectly connected to the governments in Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Iran. Each nation, to suit its own Islamic agenda. This a battle of Islamic supremacy in the Kashmir region is primarily between Shias and Sunnis.

An act of terror by Islamic radicals in India is sometimes glorified as martyrdom.

Take the case of Burhan Wani. He was the wronged son of a school teacher, that’s, the justification for some Islamic radicalism supporting media propagated globally. I never understood what a terrorist’s past got to do with what the terrorist has done in real-time. If the person is a terrorist and is responsible for taking the lives of other people, then the person is inhumane and a criminal. The person needs to be punished not glorified.

The life expectancy of a terrorist is a minimum of two days and a maximum of one year. Many are killed within the first three months of becoming a terrorist.  The ideology that drives someone to become a terrorist is the ideology that gets someone killed.

Just like Kashmir, you are seeing this trend of Islamic radicalism spreading in more states in India like Kerala. The phenomenon however is global and spreading at an alarming rate.

In January 2020, the US Agency of International Development and State Department donated USD 5 million to InterAction.

Interestingly, InterAction in 2017 initiated the ’Together Project’.

The project questionably comprises of Islamic charities with documented links to extremist movements and terror financing groups.

The five Islamic charities in the ’Together Project’ are Helping Hand of Relief and Development (HHRD), Islamic Relief, Zakat Foundation of America, American Relief Agency for the Horn of Africa, and United Muslim Relief.

Sam Westrop, Director, Islamist Watch – a project of the Middle East Forum – in a research-based report revealed that “InterAction has worked with these groups for the past three years to downplay examples of extremism and terror-finance links. In 2017, shortly after the Together Project was established, InterAction, along with its Together Project member bodies, was a leading force behind a letter sent by then-congressman Keith Ellison to other legislators that attempted to minimise the extremist activities of Islamic Relief — an enormous charity headquartered in the UK, established and run by prominent members of several Muslim Brotherhood branches. Ellison and his InterAction-led backers urged lawmakers to reject a bill that would have excluded the Islamist organization from receiving government monies.”

The three Congressmen – Jim Banks, Chuck Fleischmann, and Randy Weber — in a letter to the State Department Coordinator for Counter-Terrorism Nathan Sales exposed the questionable links of Helping Hand of Relief (HHRD)

“Specifically of concern are the innocuous-sounding organization. Helping Hands for Relief and Development (HHRD) and their “sister organization,” the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA). While they sell themselves as innocuous Muslim civic society organizations. they are. in fact, arms of one of the most radical networks in the world.

There is no serious doubt that ICNA and HHRD are part of Jamaat-e-Islami’s international network. Indeed, the evidence is overwhelming and extensive. Vali Nasr of Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced and International Studies names ICNA as one of the most important branches of Jamaat-e-Islami in the world. Regrettably, there is significant evidence that Helping Hands for Relief and Development and ICNA are directly involved in terror finance. Indeed, Helping Hands for Relief and Development, under the guise of international aid, has openly worked with U.S. designated terrorist organizations in the disputed region of Kashmir.

In December 2017, HHRD organized a conference in Pakistan. Other organizations sponsoring the event included the Falah-e-Insaniat Foundation, the charitable wing of the Pakistani terrorist organization, Lashkar-e-Taiba. In 2016. the U.S. Treasury Department designated the Falah-eInsaniat Foundation as a terrorist organization.’? But that’s just one example. Another sponsor of the conference was a Pakistani charity named Al-Khidmat, which is the main charitable wing of Jamaat-e-Islami. Al-Khidmat supports the aforementioned Hizb-ul-Mujahideen, Jamaat-e-Islami’s armed wing, a U.S. designated terrorist group, and works on projects that are run by Hizb-ul-Mujahaideen.’! But Al-Khidmat’s ties to terror finance don’t end only with other Jamaat-e-Islami affiliated groups. In 2006, Jamaat-e-Islami announced that Al-Khidmat sent 6 million rupees ($100,000) to Hamas, another U.S. designated terrorist group, for their ‘just Jihad.” Moreover, HHRD’s partnership with Al-Khidmat is not relegated to this one conference. Indeed. according to HHRD’s 2017 report, HHRD had done 214 different projects with Al-Khidmat.

The ongoing tension and violence in Kashmir is a threat to peace and stability for both India and Pakistan. It is clearly in the best interests of the U.S. to keep peace in the region and not fan the flames of war. It is thus vital that the U.S. do whatever it can to stop the flow of any and all funds that we can to terrorist organizations operating in the region. Thus, we ask that you use the full powers of your office to further investigate the potential terror finance links between groups like ICNA and HHRD, and US. and UN Security Council designated terrorist groups like Lashkar-e-Taiba and Hizbul Mujahedeen.”

The protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act 2019 across India was spearheaded by one main Islamist group out of the US – Stand With Kashmir. Bollywood actor Farhan Akhtar invited the people of Mumbai to join in the protests. The protest pamphlet with a distorted map of India excluding Kashmir was tweeted by Farhan Akthar, it also carried a logo of ‘Stand With Kashmir’.

Stand With Kashmir is a sister affiliated of Islamic Circle of North America and Helping Hands for Relief and Development (HHRD)

Another organisation is the Zakat Foundation of America. The charity was founded by Halil Demir, a former official at the Benevolence International Foundation. This foundation was designated as an Al Qaeda charitable front by the US Treasury in 2002. The Zakat Foundation reportedly has strong links with Turkey and its proxy organisations such as the Foundation of Human Rights, Liberties, and Humanitarian Relief (LHH).

The presence of a Turkish nefarious hand in India in particular Kashmir is slowly rearing its ugly head.

Turkey is a majority-Sunni Muslim country. Turkey considers Islam instrumental in achieving consensus among its diverse ethnic groups.

Turkey’s Prime Minister Erdogan has good reason to invest in Indian Muslims. Support from the world third-largest Muslim population would be a welcome boost to Erdogan’s claim to be the modern-day leader of the Muslim world.

“The links between Erdogan’s Islamist coterie and Indian clerics are long-standing but also deepening: a number of controversial Turkish Islamist clerics are regular visitors to India; one of them, Sardar Demirel, who was educated in Pakistan, visited Kolkata in 2016 to participate in a protest march against PM Modi’s Uniform Civil Code,” expressed Abhinav Pandya, CEO, Usanas Foundation – an Indian Think Thank on geopolitical issues in India with a focus on Kashmir.

Turkey is the only Islamic nation after Pakistan and Malaysia that had “unequivocally supported” self-determination of Kashmir and questioned the abrogation of Article 370.

InterAction’s Together Project members and partners including Islamic Relief – USA, Helping Hand for Relief and Development (HHRD) and others have met with Members of the US Congress to discuss online attacks and campaigns that spread false information targeting an NGO and most importantly bank de-risking – financial barriers faced by NGOs working abroad that place limits on humanitarian aid.

Now reportedly the Islamic Relief – USA is a brand of Islamic Relief Worldwide which works with proxy organisations for the terrorist group Hamas. Islamic Relief World Wide has also been designated as a terrorist organisation by the United Arab Emirates and Israel.

The American Relief Agency for the Horn of Africa known to have ties with extremists like Yusuf Estes who publicly support death for apostates. He participated in one of their fundraisers in May 2019.

United Muslim Relief officials publicly support Hamas, the Islamic terror group of Palestine according to a report of Islamist Watch – a project of the Middle East Forum.

It is no secret that today, Islamist charities, flush with money from international bodies and American charitable foundations, operate with impunity, openly working with designated terrorist organizations and prominent extremists. These Islamic charities have been working against the interest of India, Stand With Kashmir and Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) have been prominent is spreading lied about India and its inclusive and integrating policies on Kashmir. Their actions are planned, targeted, and protected under the guise of Islamic charities.

The moot question is why is the Trump administration funding Islamic charities and radical groups having links directly to terror organisations. Even more important is the startling truth that Islamic charities like HHRD linked to groups like ICNA and Stand With Kashmir are finding a voice in the US to lie and lobby for an Anti-India Anti-Kashmir agenda. US government has been funding these same Islamic charities.

If Islamic radical organisations can raise funds for their nefarious acts against India by influencing the US-government, then it is without a doubt that under the shadow of advocacy, bureaucracy, and trade, Islamic radicalism is spreading globally, influencing policy and decision-makers in different nations on different Islamic radicalization planned agendas.

The decision of the French President Emmanuel Macron to enact a law against Islamic radicalism in France is an assertive and much-needed step by the leader of a nation. More nations must unite to curb the menace of Islamic radicalism because if you analyze and research deeper into the roots of the face of Islamic terrorism, it is Islamic radicalism ingrained at a young age under the guise of religious freedom and indoctrination.

Emmanuel Macron correctly termed the act of beheading a teacher as an act of Islamic terror. It is an act of Islamic terror by a mind stringed by Islamic radicalism.

Nations must see the evil of Islamic radicalism for the evil it really is and not be confused by their different facets of good and evil. There is no good if the Islamic organisations do not condemn and act against Islamic radicalism and Islamic terrorism.

Most nations must follow the path taken by France and that of a nation I do not approve of in the method of dealing with Islamic radicalism but it has been effective so far – China.

I often have an engaging discussion with my Islamic friends around the world on the issues of Islamic radicalism and terrorism. Most do not agree with the tenets of Islamic radicalism and definitely oppose Islamic terrorism but condemnation and opposition are not enough. Muslims globally must understand that the greatest danger of Islamic radicalism is to the Muslims first.

If we do not address the growing menace of Islamic radicalism around the world, we will be seeing corners across the world having its own Islamic radical hell-holes where humanity has no value and humans are mere tools of subjugation. Humanness will be dead.

I often find it hard to accept that a cartoon on religion is enough reason to decapitate another human’s head. Because I know many Muslims, good Muslims and I am not willing to accept that they agree to someone chopping the head of another human because of religion. We are not barbarians, we are humans.

A few days ago I received a call from Northwest Frontier Province in Pakistan – a global terror hub and breeding ground of terrorists. The call was from a person named Fayaz Gul. Abu Ismail Khan, leader of the Mumbai 26/11 Terror Attack who marched into Mumbai CST with Ajmal Kasab and opened fire on innocent Indians comes from the NWFP. Incidentally, we have been tracking Islamic terrorism in Pakistan, Turkey, and other nations targetting India. We will not stop till expose Islamic terrorism and their faces in India.

Islamic radicalism must end. This will end Islamic terrorism. Enough is enough.
