Jammu: Security forces on Thursday morning launched search operation after drone dropping was reported close to an international border in Ramgarh sector of Samba district in Jammu and Kashmir.

“Drone dropping is reported in Ramgarh sector and a packet of consignment has been seized,” a senior police officer confirmed.

He added that they are on job and more details will follow.

However, as per unconfirmed reports, the packet contained some cash and explosives.

Notably, on Tuesday, BSF troops neutralised one Pakistani intruder and nabbed another in Jammu and Samba belts. The detained Pakistani national was repatriated on Wednesday.

Meanwhile searches were already being carried out along the border belts.
