Sources said the minister reached the ED office at Salt Lake on Wednesday around 10.30 am in response to fresh summons issued to him by the probe agency.

He had skipped and the last summons, issued soon after his house was raided in March, and sent his representatives to face interrogation about his phone calls data.

In March, the ED had also searched the home of a Kolkata businessman who allegedly helped Sinha transfer funds illegally from India to other countries.
