Fake call centre targeting UK people busted in Kolkata

Kolkata: gang of fraudsters involved in cheating the UK people through their fake call center has been arrested by Kolkata Police.

The city police after getting complaints swung into action, following a clue, raided the illegal call centre at Coach Pukur under the Leather Complex police station on Wednesday evening and seized incriminating documents after arresting 16 suspects from their hideout.

Among the arrested, three were women, police added.

Police also seized laptops, mobiles phone sets, notebooks and atm cards from the nabbed people.

On Friday, all sixteen will appear in court for judicial proceedings.
