G20 Summit: J&K ACS Home heads 16-member panel to supervise preparations

Jammu: To oversee the preparations related to G20 Summit events in 2023 across the Union Territory, the Jammu and Kashmir government on Monday constituted a 16-member committee to be headed by Raj Kumar Goyal, Financial Commissioner, (Additional Chief Secretary), Home Department as its Chairman.

The government order issued by Dr. Piyush Singla, Secretary to the Government, read, “In view of the visit of officials from G20 participating countries and organizations to the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, sanction is accorded to the constitution of Committee to oversee the preparations related to G20 event in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.”

The committee headed by Raj Kumar Goyal, Financial Commissioner, (Additional Chief Secretary), Home Department as its Chairman is comprised many civil personnel and police personnel.
