Geo-political discussion on energy, sustainability in Modi 3.0

New Delhi: Let’s Do It India Foundation, in collaboration with the Auckland Business Chamber, hosted a media programme at the India International Centre here on Monday, focusing on a geo-political discussion concerning energy and sustainability in Modi 3.0, with a special emphasis on the growing partnership between New Zealand and India.

The aim of event was to explore the evolving energy landscape and sustainable practices within the context of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s third term.

Esteemed experts and thought leaders from both nations discussed the opportunities and challenges faced by India and New Zealand, as they navigate complex global energy dynamics and strive for sustainability.

Attendees included Simon Bridges, chief executive officer of the Auckland Business Chamber; Rohit Anand, managing director of Redstone Ventures; Brent King, MD of General Capital; Neil Hannard, director Rest of the World at Douglas Pharmaceuticals; Mat Rowe, MD of Outset Ventures; Andy Hughes, general manager of Partnerships at Futureverse; Paul Parlane, CEO of Avgar and Geoff Allott, MD of Quality NZ.

Simon Bridges remarked, “This event marks a significant step in deepening the ties between our two nations. By sharing knowledge and expertise, we can work towards a sustainable future and address the pressing energy challenges of our time.”

Prof Pankaj Choudhary, founder of Let’s Do It India Foundation, added, “We are thrilled to have hosted this timely discussion, bringing together voices from India and New Zealand to explore the synergies in energy and sustainability. As we navigate the complexities of geo-politics and climate change, it is crucial for nations to come together and share solutions.”

The programme, attended by 100 dignitaries, media representatives and industry stakeholders, featured keynote addresses, panel discussions and interactive sessions
