Goa reports 149 cases and 1 death

Panjim: One hundred and forty nine new cases of COVID-19 were found in Goa while a 50-year-old man from Fatorda died due to the contagion on Wednesday.

According to media bulletin issued by Directorate of Health Services, with the new findings number of active cases in the state went up to 1607 while 2541 persons had recovered so far.

Currently, Goa has reported 4176 positive COVID-19 cases. 1607 active cases and 28 deaths reported.

Out of 6823 samples tested, 1808 were found to be negative while results of 4866 samples were awaited.

Number of persons who succumbed to coronavirus infection in the state increased to 28.
