Jammu: One terrorist was killed and a police personnel sustained injuries in a gunfight which broke out on Monday between a group of terrorists and security forces in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Army said that encounter triggered this afternoon when a joint team of police and Army on specific inputs launched a search operation in Gali Sohab area of Tuli in Chassana.
“The terrorists are believed to be two out of which one has been eliminated and one police personnel is also injured,” Army said.
The operation is in progress.
Additional Director General of Police, Jammu Zone, Mukesh Singh also shared the details about the ensuing gunfight.
