J&K: Army foils infiltration bid in Battal Sector, soldier injured

Jammu: The Army foiled an infiltration bid in the Battal Sector of Poonch district in Jammu and Kashmir early Tuesday morning.

“Alert troops foiled an #infiltration bid by effectively engaging infiltrating #terrorists with effective fire in the #Battal Sector at 0300 hrs,” Nagrota-based White Knight Corps posted on X.

It is further said that during the exchange of heavy fire, one braveheart has been injured, and operations are continuing.

On Monday, terrorists attacked an Army post and a house of a VDG member in the Gundah area of Budhal in Rajouri district.
