Jammu: Alert troops of Border Security Force (BSF) have recovered an Improvised Exlosive device dropped by a drone in border village Hiranagar of Kathua district in Jammu and Kashmir.
At midnight, alert BSF troops in Jammu Frontier observed a drone in Manihari village, under police station Rajbagh, Marheen, Hiranagar area of Kathua district.
“The BSF troops engaged the drone by fire, and subsequently, the area was searched, and the recovery of IED dropped by the drone was made,” the spokesman said.
He further stated that the troops are on high alert.
