Lockdown 4.0 to begin on May 18th: Goa CM

Panjim: The Chief Minister of Goa Dr Pramod Sawant told the media post the virtual meeting with the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi that Goa will go into Lockdown 4.0 from May 18, 2020 with limited restrictions.

Sawant said, “Lockdown 4.0 to begin from 18th May with limited restrictions, state will have powers to take decisions during lockdown 4.0, only people can support us to maintain green zone.”

Goa CM further elaborated that he briefed the PM about COVID-19 patients in Goa. He also spoke about the facilities in place in Goa to contain the spread of coronavirus. He also touched on the economic activities and mining.

Sawant also expressed to the PM that the inter-state transport, railways & flight movement should be restricted.
