Maha agri universities, intl varsities to sign cooperation MoU soon: Munde

Mumbai: Maharashtra Agriculture Minister Dhananjay Munde has said a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) will be signed soon regarding academic cooperation of the state’s agricultural universities with international varsities and called for efforts to build the necessary infrastructure.

The 115th meeting of the Maharashtra Agricultural Education and Research Council concluded on Thursday under Munde’s chairmanship.

Commissioner of Agriculture Raosaheb Bhagde, Director of Agriculture Council Dr. Harihar Kausdikar, Vice Chancellor of all four agricultural universities in the state, and members of the Council were present at the meeting.

Munde said agricultural universities should perform substantially in education and research, and assured that the government will make available the necessary funds.
