Major drug racket busted in Manipur

Imphal: Manipur Police has arrested six persons allegedly involved in a major drug trade.

Police said on Monday that Manipur Police conducted search at Kangpokpi since Saturday last and so far six persons including a woman have been arrested.

Police said the accused were identified as Khaikahao Kipgen , ( Letgoumang Touthang, Aabi Baral, Jitten Kharka , L H Ranirou and Leah Chao.

They were arrested for involvement in connection with a case registered at Kangpokpi-PS, Kangpokpi District. So far 174 soap cases of suspected Brown Sugar were seized in connection with the case.
