Mortal remains of Aishwarya killed in Texas mall shooting reach Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The mortal remains of 27-year-old woman Tatikonda Aishwarya, a civil engineer, who was among the nine people killed when a gun-wielding man opened fire at shoppers at the Allen Premium Outlets mall, in the north Dallas suburbs in US on Saturday, have reached Hyderabad on Thursday.

Aishwarya, the daughter of Tatikonda Narsireddy, a Judge in Rangareddy District Court, completed her bachelor’s in civil engineering from Osmania University and pursued her MS in construction management from Eastern Michigan University.

The assailant, who had arrived in a black car, had opened fire from outside the mall. A police officer had shot dead him upon reaching the scene.

Aishwarya’s body will be kept at her father’s residence in Saroornagar till 2100 hours tonight before the funeral takes place, according to sources.
