NCP chief Sharad Pawar pays rich tributes to late Yashwantrao Chavan

Kolhapur: A day after a vertical split in the Nationalist Congress party (NCP), its national chief Sharad Pawar arrived Karad in Satara district and paid rich tributes to the memorial of late Yashwantra Chavan’s samadhi ‘Priti-Sangam’, on Monday.

Pawar, who left Pune early this morning, arrived Karad Monday afternoon by road and straight reached ‘Priti-Sangam’, samadhi of late Chavan and garlanded the samadhi.

NCP workers welcomed Pawar.

Pratibha Pawar, wife of Pawar, Congress leader Prthivraj Chavan, Vandana Chavan, MP, Ankush Kakade, NCP spokesperson and many senior NCP leaders were present on this occasion.

After paying visit to memorial of late Yashwantra Chavan, Pawar is expected to address a public rally, along with other events in Satara district.
