Srinagar: The National Investigation Agency is carrying out searches at 19 locations in four states and the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir in connection with a case related to activities of the banned Jaish-e-Mohammad(JeM) terror outfit, officials said.
They said the raids are being conducted in a case registered this year in NIA’s Delhi unit.
“NIA is conducting searches at 19 locations in 4 states and UT of J&K in RC-13/2024/NIA/DLI,” the anti-terror agency said Thursday morning.
Official sources said that raids in J&K are being conducted in several districts.
In a similar pan-India raid in the case on October 5, the NIA had conducted searches at 26 locations in different parts of the country and arrested an alleged operative of JeM identified as Sheikh Sultan Salah Uddin Ayubi, alias Ayubi. The accused was arrested on account of his incriminatory role in the conspiracy case.
