PM Modi commissions three front line naval combatants

Mumbai: Prime Minister Narendra Modi commissioned three major naval combatants – INS Surat, INS Nilgiri and INS Vaghsheer – at the Naval Dockyard in Mumbai on Wednesday, marking a pivotal moment in India’s defence and maritime capabilities.

On the occasion, the Prime Minister said the commissioning of three frontline naval combatants will strengthen India’s efforts towards being a global leader in defence and augment its quest towards self-reliance.
