PM Modi meets US VP JD Vance, his wife Usha

Paris/New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with US Vice President JD Vance and his Indian-origin wife Usha Vance in Paris, ahead of meeting with US President Donald Trump in Washington this week.

PM Modi posted on X that he was delighted to celebrate the birthday of JD Vance and Usha Vance’s son Vivek who turned five on February 12.

In a post on X, the PM wrote:

“Had a wonderful meeting with US @VP @JDVance and his family. We had a great conversation on various subjects. Delighted to join them in celebrating the joyous birthday of their son, Vivek!”

The US VP wrote:

“Prime Minister Modi was gracious and kind, and our kids really enjoyed the gifts. I’m grateful to him for the wonderful conversation.”

PM Modi travels to Washington after his France visit. He is to hold bilateral talks with US President Trump to take forward the bilateral ties.
