Police recover and return Air Force veteran’s lost Bag in Gulmarg

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Police recovered a lost bag belonging to an Air Force veteran at the ski resort of Gulmarg in Baramulla district.

Police said Group Captain Ajit Singh (Retired) of the Indian Air Force, a resident of Mohali, Punjab, who was on a tour with his family in Gulmarg, misplaced his bag containing Rs 37,000 in cash and other documents on Monday.

“Upon realizing the loss, the family immediately approached Police Station Gulmarg for assistance,” police said.

“Acting swiftly, Baramulla Police initiated a prompt search operation with dedicated efforts, lost bag was located and safely handed over to Gp Capt and his family,” police said.

The family expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the officials for their quick and efficient response.
