New Delhi: Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav on Tuesday said in Lok Sabha that the recent parliamentary election results are a moral victory for the INDI alliance. He once again raised doubts over reliability of electronic voting machines (EVM).
Addressing the House during the discussion on Motion of Thanks on President’ address, Akhilesh Yadav said EVMs will be discontinued in elections whenever the INDIA bloc government is formed.
Calling for a caste census, the SP leader also attacked the government for its failure to address unemployment and said the Agniveer Scheme for military recruitment would also be axed once the INDIA bloc comes to power.
