Rajouri Op: One more terrorist neutralised in ensuing gunfight

Jammu: Security forces have eliminated one more terrorist in an ensuing gunfight on Wednesday in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Additional Director General of Police Mukesh Singh, while confirming, said, “The second terrorist has been gunned down in the ensuing encounter in Narlah area of Rajouri district.”

The gunfight resumed between terrorists and security forces with the first light, following which security forces neutralised the second terrorist.

On Tuesday, one terrorist was killed, one Army jawan was martyred, and three security personnel, including a Special Police Officer, sustained injuries in the operation.

One Army dog (female Labrador) also sacrificed her life while protecting her handler.
