Moscow: Russian air defence systems intercepted and destroyed 70 Ukrainian drones over the Rostov, Volgograd, Astrakhan, Voronezh, Belgorod and Kursk regions overnight, the Russian Defence Ministry reported.
“Air defence systems on duty intercepted and destroyed 70 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles overnight, as reported by the Russian Defence Ministry. These systems played a crucial role in protecting the Rostov, Volgograd, Astrakhan, Voronezh, Belgorod and Kursk regions from the Ukrainian drone attacks.” the ministry said.
Of these, 27 drones were shot down over the territory of the Rostov region; 25 UAVs over the Volgograd region; seven over the Astrakhan region, five over the Voronezh region, four over the Belgorod region and two over the Kursk region.
