Rusted mortar shells found along roadside in J&K’s Samba

Jammu: At least six rusted mortar shells were found along the roadside on Friday in the Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Police sources said that the mortar shells were found in bushes along the roadside, suspected to have been left by some scrap dealer.

“The bomb disposal squad was immediately called into service to defuse the shells,” they said.

The police said that the matter is being investigated.
