Submit revised proposal for erecting grand memorial of revolutionary Raghoji Bhangre in Nashik: Maha CM

Pune: Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has given a direction to submit a revised proposal for erecting a grand memorial in Nashik district, commemorating great contribution of early revolutionary Raghoji Bhangre in India’s freedom movement.

The meeting was held at Sahyadri guest house, under the chairmanship of Shinde, on Thursday.

The concerned district committee has prepared the budget and plan for construction of memorial of Bhangre at a cost of about Rs 13 crore.

Since this memorial will play an important role in presenting contribution and bravery of Bhangre to new generation, the Chief Minister also gave instructions to build the memorial by including comprehensive aspects.
