Third Modi Govt will present comprehensive budget for 2024-2025 after LS poll : Suvendu

Kolkata:  West Bengal Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari on Thursday exuded confidence that the Union Finance Minister of the third Modi Government will be presenting the Comprehensive Budget for the Fiscal Year 2024-2025 on the floor of Parliament after the Lok Sabha election.

Taking to X, Adhikari said, ” I am 100 per cent sure that the Hon’ble Finance Minister of the 3rd Modi Govt will be presenting the Comprehensive Budget for the Fiscal Year 2024-2025 on the floor of the Parliament after the Lok Sabha Elections. ”

” In the meantime, I would like to extend my greetings to Hon’ble @FinMinIndia Smt. @nsitharaman Ji for presenting the Interim Budget which certainly showcases that the Central Government is tirelessly working to achieve the target of ‘Viksit Bharat’ by 2047, ” he added.

” Though the Budget is primarily focused on the development of the 4 Major Castes of India; POOR or the Economically weaker section, YUVA SHAKTI or the Youth, ANNADATA or the Farmers and NARI SHAKTI or the Women; it can be said that all the Sectors have been taken care of exceptionally well, ” the BJP MLA from Nandigram maintained.

” Some key points:-Budget raises CAPEX target by 11.1% to Rs 11.11 lakh Crore to steer India’s Economy towards the fulfillment of the target of becoming the Third Largest Economy of the World.Over the last 10 years, Tax Collections have more than doubled which indicates that income of Indians have gone up substantially. 40,000 Rail Coaches to be upgraded to ‘Vande Bharat’ Standard. 3 New Major Railway Economic Corridors under the PM Gati Shakti Yojana – a) Energy, Mineral & Cement Corridor; b) Port Connectivity Corridor; and c) High Traffic Density Corridor. To boost Domestic Tourism, projects for Port Connectivity, Tourism Infrastructure & amenities will be taken on Indian Islands including Lakshadweep. Govt will launch a Scheme to help Middle Class buy & build their own houses, ” he said
