UP CM declares ‘The Kerala Story’ tax-free

New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday announced that the Sudipto Sen directorial ‘The Kerala Story’, will be made tax-free in the state.

Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, the CM wrote in Hindi, “The Kerala Story will be made tax-free in Uttar Pradesh”.

‘The Kerala Story’ is directed by Sudipto Sen and produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah. The plot follows the story of a group of women from Kerala who converted to Islam and joined the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS). The film stars Adah Sharma, Yogita Bihani, Sonia Balani, and Siddhi Idnani.

The film has earned Rs 35.25 crore at the box office, in three days.
