Kolar(Karnataka): Three youths of a particular community have been booked by Kolar police for posting messages supporting the Pakistan cricket team after they won a Super-4 match at the ongoing Asia Cup in Dubai and Sharjah.

R Venkateshappa, the complainant, alleged that the Muslim youths had posted pictures and messages on their WhatsApp status praising Pakistan cricket team who thrashed India in an Asia Cup Super-4 clash last Sunday.

Pakistan had notched up a humdinger against India by a wicket with just a ball to spare. Asif Ali had turned the tables against India in the penalutimate over when he smashed 19 runs off Bhuvaneshwar Kumar. This blitzkrieg of Asif Ali reduced the target from 26 off 12 balls to 7 off 6 balls.

This is in contrast to a large number of Pakistani fans and cricketers hailing India former captain Virat Kohli after he hit century in last match after a three-year ton drought.
