3 coaches of Secunderabad-Shalimar superfast express derail near Howrah

Kolkata: Three coaches of the Secunderabad-Shalimar Superfast Express derailed near Howrah in West Bengal early on Saturday, an official said.

South Eastern Railway’s CPRO, Omprakash Charan, said there had been no injury after the 3 coaches of the Shalimar-bound Secunderabad-Shalimar Superfast Express jumped the rails near Nalpur station this morning.

Among the 3 coaches, one was the B1 coach of the Secunderabad-Shalimar Superfast Express Train No. 22850.

The restoration of the line was on, the SER spokesman said.
