Minor tremor felt in Manipur, neighbouring states, countries

Imphal: A mild tremor of 5.2 magnitude on the Richter scale hit Manipur on Friday around 3.53 am.

The epicentre was about 5 km from Tengnoupal, Manipur.

The tremor was felt in neighbouring countries, Myanmar and Bangladesh and neighbouring states, Mizoram, Tripura, Nagaland, Assam and Meghalaya also.

There was no report of any major damage so far.
