Kochi: In an unprecedented move against the media supporting the CPI(M)-led government, Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan on Monday asked two news channels to leave his interaction with journalists.

Media One channel and Kairali news channel were asked to vacate the premises by the Governor who said he does not want to talk to those who masquerade as media.

“If any media man from Kairali is here, I don’t want to talk to them. If anybody from Media One is here, I don’t want to talk to you. Get out from here. I hope that no one from Kairali and Media One is here,” the Governor said.

When a few mediapersons said the two media houses came on an invitation from the Raj Bhavan, the Governor said there might have been a mistake and he will look into that matter after reaching his office, and asked both the journalists to leave.

The Governor alleged that the both the media houses were carrying out a false propaganda against him.
