IFFI: Manushi Chhillar felicitated for ‘Samrat Prithviraj’

Panaji: Gorgeous actress Manushi Chhillar, who won hearts with her magnificent debut in ‘Samrat Prithviraj’ alongside Akshay Kumar, attended the grand closing ceremony of 53rd International Film Festival of India (IFFI), and was felicitated for her brilliant performance in her first film.

The actress was felicitated in the presence of Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting Anurag Thakur and Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant alongside other esteemed guests from the industry like Asha Parekh, Shekhar Kapur, Akshay Kumar, Ayushmann Khurrana, Rana Daggubati and Esha Gupta.

Ecstatic with the honour, an overwhelmed Manushi said, “I am humbled and thrilled to be felicitated for my debut in Samrat Prithviraj at the 53rd IFFI ceremony. It is my first year in the movies and to be felicitated for my debut film in the presence of such esteemed dignitaries is heartening. Working on Samrat Prithviraj with Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi and Akshay Kumar was an enriching journey. I am thankful to them and to Aditya Chopra for giving me an opportunity.”

On the work front, Manushi will next be seen in ‘Tehran’, opposite John Abraham.
