Animals die while getting chip implanted in brain, Elon Musk’s company under legal gaze

Elon Musk’s company, Neuralink, which has claimed that it is preparing for implanting chips in the human brain, now finds itself in hot waters. The American administration has started investigating the company in relation to not following animal-welfare laws. Neuralink has been accused of violating animal-welfare laws because of its experiment of implanting chips in brains of animals, and because in a hurry, a large number of animals lost their lives due to the experiment.

The company’s own employees reported the animal tests and complained that Neuralink was rushing the tests, because of which the animals are facing unnecessary pain and death. It as after these accusations that investigation against medical device developer Neuralink has been initiated. On the other hand, the company has claimed that with the help of this chip, paralyzed people can get cured.

Neuralink is developing a brain implant, to be fitted in the human brain, and recently, the company had made a claim that it has submitted the required documents to the American Drugs and Food Administration, and soon, the permission for the same will be granted, and within the next 6 months, the implant will be fitted into human brains.
