Hyderabad: President Droupadi Murmu, who was in Hyderabad as part of her five-day Southern Sojourn, on Friday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mother Heera’s hundred years of struggling life is a symbol of Indian ideals.

Taking to twitter, Murmu said ‘Shri Modi imbibed the spirit of ‘ #मातृदेवोभव ‘ and the values of Hiraba in his life. I pray for the peace of the holy soul.

My condolences to the family!

Heeraben Modi (99) passed away at a hospital in Ahmedabad in the early hours of the day.
