Russian national Sergy Milyakov found dead inside a ship in Paradip port

Bhubaneswar: A Russian National was found dead in a ship anchored at Paradip port in the early morning of Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified as Sergy Milyakov (51), the chief engineer of the ship M B Aldnab.

The ship was on its way from Chittagong Port in Bangladesh to Mumbai. The cause of the death is yet to be ascertained Milykov is the third Russian found dead in Odisha during the last fortnight.

Earlier two Russians were found dead in a hotel in Rayagada in South Odisha

While Vladimir Bidenov was found dead in his hotel room on December 22 last his friend Pavel Antov, a lawmaker was found dead allegedly after falling from the third floor of the hotel on December 24.

A crime branch inquiry has been ordered into the death of these two Russian tourists. Meanwhile, Odisha DGP Sunil Bansal said if necessary a crime branch will also probe into the death of Sergy Milyakov.
