Kolkata: Describing the people of Bengal as her treasure, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said, ” Our people are endlessly suffering owing to the apathy of the Central Government. ”

During a presser, Banerjee on Monday said, ” I have always prioritised their well-being and catered to their needs with dedication, and I intend to continue my hard work in the future. ”

The Chief Minister promised all that she will always ensure that none is deprived of leading a holistic life.

” Every single individual in our state deserves to prosper, and I will ensure that, ” she said adding, ” Our people are endlessly suffering owing to the apathy of the Central Government. ”

” Due to their vendetta politics, innocent people have been led towards misery, ‘ she stated and assured all that her fight against such “tyranny” will continue until victory.

She also informed that she will be going to New Delhi on May 27 to attend NITI-Aayog meeting.

” I will be going to New Delhi to attend the NITI-Aayog meeting on May 27, since it is the only place where I can voice the State’s issues. However, only the issues that are preselected are discussed during the meeting, ” Banerjee said.

“Earlier during the Planning Commission, there were provisions for voicing concerns and issues, now it is completely zero, ” the Chief Minister added.

“Nonetheless, I will continue to speak about our deprivation by the Centre, even if I get the chance in the end, I will place my concerns and demands, ” she further stated.
