Naveen announces assistance for the kins of bereaved families

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday announced compassionate assistance of Rs four lakh to the next of kin of each of the four people who died in two separate incidents after nor’wester hit Malkangiri district on Thursday.

Patnaik expressed his profound grief over the deaths and expressed his sympathies to the bereaved family members.

As per the report while two people died after a boat hit by strong wind capsized in Satiguda reservoir two labourers died after the perimeter walls of Malkangiri Airstrip collapsed hit by Nor’ wester. Three labourers were also injured in the incident.

The Chief Minister also directed the officials to provide free high quality Medicare to the injured.

Similarly Patnaik also expressed his grief over the death of two girls while bathing in sea near Aryapalli under Chhatrapur block of Ganjam district on Thursday and announced an assistance of Rs four lakh to the family members of each of the deceased.

The Chief Minister expressed his grief over the death and conveyed his sympathies to the bereaved family members.
