Passengers panicked as smoke detected in a coach in Secunderabad-Agartala Express

Bhubaneswar: Panic gripped among the passengers of the Secunderabad -Agartala Express after smoke was detected in a coach of the train at Brahmapur Railway station on Tuesday.

Sources said the passengers got down from the train after smoke was detected in B 5 coach of the train and were reluctant to board the train even after the smoke was controlled.

Meanwhile, East Coast Railway (ECoR) sources said a minor electrical issue happened in the coach No B 5 of Train No 07030 Secunderabad- Agartala Express near Brahmapur station.

The on-duty staff attended it immediately and rectified the problem.
