Dr Manisha Kayande appointed as Shiv Sena Secretary and Party Spokesperson: CM Shinde

Mumbai: Maharashtra State Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Monday tweeted that, Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray’s MLC Dr Manisha Shyamsunder Kayande who officially joined his faction was appointed as Shiv Sena Secretary and Party Spokesperson.

Dr Kayande last night left UBT and joined Shinde’s sena faction and was welcomed by Shinde, the party announced.

After joining the Shiv Sena Shinde group, Dr Kayande has been given a big responsibility.

Shinde informed that for the first time in the history of Shiv Sena, a woman has been given the responsibility of party secretary and she expressed her hope that she should take the initiative to expand the party and solve the problems of women.

Meanwhile, Vijay Tandel, a former independent corporator from the Chunabhatti area in Mumbai, and his wife Sanvi Vijay Tandel also left the UBT group and publicly joined the Shinde’s faction.

Meanwhile, Shiv Sena both faction are celebrating the party’s 57th foundation day separately on Monday.

‘On the occasion of the 57th anniversary of the #Shivsena party founded by the thoughts of venerable Hindu heart emperor Balasaheb Thackeray, best wishes to all the Shiv Sainiks, Yuva Sainiks and Mahila Aghadi office bearers and workers across the country,’ CM stated in another tweet.
