Hamirpur: Senior BJP leader and former Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister P K Dhumal on Saturday lambasted the Congress party and other opposition parties for stalling the proceedings of Parliament on the Manipur issue when the government was ready for a discussion.

They were not interested in the discussions and were running from the house.

Talking to a group of reporters here, Dhumal said that these parties were creating chaos in the country as they had an eye on the 2024 Lok Sabha election.

However, their evil designs would not work and they would be thrown out of the National polity after the Lok Sabha election.

Dhumal said the time had come for all the patriotic parties to join hands and thwart the attempts of a new alliance of opposition parties to create problems for the government and the people.

He expressed optimism that despite the let-loose operations of these parties, the BJP led by Narendra Modi would once again form the party government at Centre with a massive majority with the help and support of the people.
