New Delhi: Vivek Tyagi, another alleged associate of Aam Aadmi Party leader and MP Sanjay Singh,
appeared before the Enforcement Directorate on Saturday in connection with the (now scrapped) Delhi excise policy case.
He was summoned by the Central probe agency for questioning in this case.
Before entering into the ED office, Tyagi replied to the questions of media persons and said that we have faith in the judiciary and my truth.
Yesterday, Sarvesh Mishra who is one of the alleged associates of Sanjay Singh appeared at ED office for questioning that time he told the media persons “truth will triumph”. He was grilled several hours by the agency in connection with the case.
They were summoned to join the on-going investigation in connection with Delhi excise policy linked money laundering case, sources said.
As per sources, the probe agency will record their statements regarding this case. ED will confront them with Sanjay Singh who is currently in the Central probe agency’s custody.
On Thursday, Sanjay Singh was sent to ED remand till October 10 in connection with the Delhi excise policy case. He was taken into custody on Wednesday after over 10 hours of questioning at his residence in Delhi.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday said the entire liquor scam is “fake” and probe agencies don’t have any proof of even a single penny.
