Kolhapur: Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is trying to put pressure on the country’s judicial system by making statements like his (Thackeray) Shiv Sena as ‘nakali’ (fake) one.

Addressing a public rally on Wednesday in the city in presence of NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar for Shreemant Shahu Chhatrapati Maharaj, he further alleged that Modi wanted to influence the verdict of the court on a pending case as per his ‘nakali’ utterance.

He wondered how a Prime Minister could make such a statement that his Shiv Sena is fake and claimed that he (Modi) was making such a statement as a form of tactic to apply pressure on the Supreme Court, where a case to determine whose Shiv Sena is real was pending.

However, Thackeray expressed his faith in independent judicial system of the country.

Launching a diatribe against the Prime Minister, the Sena chief alleged that Modi could not fulfil his electoral promises made in 2014 and charged that Modi brought black agri laws for farmers, GST on various agri materials, products without doubling farmers’ income.

He claimed that Modi has a malicious agenda of changing Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar’s Constitution and for this, he is giving slogans like ‘400 Par’.
