Goa bags 5 awards at Startup Mahakumbh 4.0

The 4th edition of the ‘Startup Mahakumbh’ got recently concluded, and the state of Goa marked a successful debut in the same. India’s largest startup event, the Startup Mahakumbh, was held at the International Convention Centre, Yashobhumi, New Delhi, in association with the Directorate of Industries, Trade and Commerce, wherein Goa was the State Partner. The event took place from June 28 to 30.

Goa, partnering with the organizers of the event, provided a platform for its MSME startups and self-help groups to shine. Not only this, but Goa also won big at the event, and won 5 prestigious awards, which are, ‘Bootstrapped Startup of the Year’, bagged by Latambarcem Brewers Pvt. Ltd.; ‘Media Tech Startup of the Year’, won by Coderix Solutions Pvt. Ltd.; ‘Best Waste Reduction Startup’, awarded to Swachh AI Technologies Pvt. Ltd.; ‘Best Innovation on Drone Technology’, won by Spacialcraft; and the ‘Best MSME Startup Supporter’, bagged by the Vibrant Goa Foundation.

More than 250 startups from all across India participated in the 4th edition of the Startup Mahakumbh, as the event provided an excellent platform for networking, collaboration, and celebration, bringing together visionaries, investors, and industry leaders.

Along with this, the ‘Swayampoorna Goa’ booth showcased novel products from various self-help groups of Goa, which remained a prominent point of interest during the event. An enthusiastic response from visitors was also garnered by the ‘Amazing Goa Global Summit and Expo’, promoted by the Vibrant Goa Foundation. And while Director of Industries, Egna Cleetus (IAS), reaffirmed Goa’s commitment to nurturing local entrepreneurial talent, the event was graced by Mauvin Godinho, Minister of Industries, Goa, as the Chief Guest.

As the Government of Goa served as the esteemed state partner for the event, the Chief Guest emphasized on the government’s steadfast support for the flourishing startup ecosystem of Goa.
