Venezuelan VP calls on VP Dhankhar, discusses economic cooperation

New Delhi: Venezuelan Executive Vice President Delcy Rodríguez, who is on a visit to India, on Friday called on Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar during which they discussed economic cooperation, people-to-people ties, promoting yoga and ayurveda.

In a post on X, the Vice President’s Office posted:

“H.E. Executive Vice President of Venezuela, Ms. Delcy Rodríguez called on Hon’ble Vice-President, Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar at Vice-President’s Enclave today. Discussions between the leaders centred around bolstering economic cooperation, enhancing people-to-people ties, promoting yoga and Ayurveda and strengthening bilateral relations.”

Earlier, the MEA spokesperson said the visit of the Venezuelan executive VP will provide an opportunity to further strengthen the bilateral relations.

“Warm welcome to Executive Vice President @delcyrodriguezv

of Venezuela as she arrives in India on a working visit.

“Her visit will provide an opportunity to further strengthen India-Venezuela bilateral ties.”
