New Delhi: A court here on Wednesday heard part arguments in a defamation case filed against accused Delhi’s former chief minister Atishi Marlena and AAP MP Sanjay Singh.

Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate (ACJM) Paras Dalal, after hearing the part arguments, said, “Arguments heard from both the sides on facts. Both sides have sought time to place on record relevant judgments. Both sides are at liberty to place on record relevant judgments on or before the next date of hearing.”

The court has adjourned the matter for further hearing on March 22.

The complainant, Congress leader Sandeep Dikshit, had filed a complaint under Section 223 BNSS for alleged offence under section 356 read with 3(5) of BNS against the accused persons in the court.
