Kiev: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that Lithuania transferred six air defense systems to Kiev.

“There are new air defense systems from Lithuania, six [were sent],” Zelenskyy said in his evening address posted on Telegram on Tuesday.

He did not specify which systems he was talking about or whether they had already been delivered to Ukraine.

Russia has repeatedly said that Western arms supplies to Ukraine hinder the resolution of the military conflict and make NATO countries a party to the crisis. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has warned that any cargo containing weapons for Ukraine will be a legitimate target for the Russian military.
