Baramulla Police held a comprehensive security review meeting at the Conference Hall, District Police Lines (DPL) Baramulla, ahead of the forthcoming Republic Day Celebrations (RDC)–2026. The meeting was chaired by the SSP Baramulla.
Senior officers of the Indian Army, Rashtriya Rifles (RR), Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), intelligence agencies, along with all Gazetted Officers (GOs), Station House Officers (SHOs) and In-Charges Police Posts (IC PPs) of district police attended the meeting.
To ensure a safe and successful Republic Day Celebration, security arrangements and inter-agency coordination were thoroughly discussed. Additionally, deployment strategies and intelligence sharing were also emphasized to guarantee a peaceful and incident-free celebration across the district.
Emphasis was laid on area domination, enhanced vigilance, strengthening of nakas, anti-sabotage measures, quick response mechanisms, and close coordination among all security agencies. All concerned were directed to remain alert and maintain a high level of preparedness.
