Google Maps will now be even more interactive, as with the help of AI (Artificial Intelligence), map navigation has been made more useful. Google Maps will now be 3-D, and with street-views, the user will feel as if they are physically present on the road. One will also be able to get better impressions of their surroundings. These new features were launched by Google in Paris, France, on Wednesday. In the first phase, these features will be available across only 5 cities of the world, which are London, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, and Tokyo.

These features will soon be made available to other cities of the world as well.

With smart-street view, 3-D images of buildings could be seen, for which Google has used billions of images. This will also provide the user with real-time data related to the city’s weather, traffic, and business-hours crowd. With Neural Radiance 3-D Display, the 3-D display of any restaurant could also be seen. Google Maps has also been updated for Electric Vehicles (EV), and it will show the best points on the basis of trip time, driving condition, and charging time, along with telling the time needed to charge the vehicle.

While driving, unlocking Google Maps on your mobile can be dangerous. But with Glanceable View, Google Maps will get launched at the very start of the ride, and will get activated with the live location. Search and Lens-Search will also be quicker now.
