Army foils infiltration bid in J-K’s Poonch; search operation underway

Jammu: The Joint team of Army and Police early morning on Monday launched a search operation after they claimed to have foiled an Infiltration bid along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.

The Army spokesman said that early morning on Monday an infiltration bid has been foiled in the Poonch area.

“A joint operation by Indian Army and J&K Police is in progress,” he said, adding that more details to be followed.
